Event Details

Over the past eighteen months, China's economy has faced significant challenges, with the economic environment transitioning from a compensatory recovery to a cooler stance and expectations shifting from optimism to relative pessimism. The central government has adopted a series of positive policies to stabilize the economy—ranging from fiscal and monetary measures to property and private sector initiatives. At this critical juncture, it is imperative to clearly understand the fundamental economic landscape, better comprehend the direction of macroeconomic governance reforms, and wisely assess the future drivers of China's economic growth.

Every August, we invite a leading thought leader and scholar in the industry to engage with us in a discussion on China's macroeconomics. This year, we are delighted to have Professor BAI Chong-En, Distinguished Professor of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Tsinghua University and Dean of the School of Economics and Management, to share his profound insights with us.

Please note that this event is limited to senior-level executives and per invitation only. If you are not an existing member of The Economist Intelligence Corporate Network, but would like to learn how you can attend our events, please contact us.
