Event Details

It has been an intense few months in Shanghai and some time since we have been able to gather in person. While we were locked down, The Economist's China Business and Finance Editor Don Weinland, who has been reporting from Hong Kong since 2020, was able to return to Shanghai. We are delighted to have him in town and trust you will be as well. Join Don, our incoming EICN Shanghai Director, and Wu Chen, Managing Director for The Economist Global Business Review – our Chinese language business and finance offering – for an evening of conversation about covering and understanding China's business scene, surviving lockdown, journalism and economic analysis on China, what we are watching this year, and more.

Please note that we will closely monitor the covid-19 policy and restrictions in Shanghai and, if needed, change plans accordingly. For now, we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Please note that this event is limited to senior-level executives and per invitation only. If you are not an existing member of The Economist Intelligence Corporate Network, but would like to learn how you can attend our events, please contact us.
