Event Details
We live in a digital world with increasing reliance on networks and information systems. New opportunities generated by technological advancement are attended by emerging cyber security challenges that represent a serious concern for companies operating in China.
Most cyberattacks against large enterprises involve first attacking smaller companies along their supply chains. China's lack of technology protection for small businesses can create additional challenges to MNCs, which may have to establish a 'cyber shield' for their entire business ecosystem to ensure that security is not compromised at the weakest point. Meanwhile, from a regulatory perspective, the remarkable changes in cybersecurity regulations in China occurring amid escalating US-China tensions may also create obstacles for foreign business operations. Companies in China therefore need to be proactive in developing and adapting systems to address these threats. Join us for a cybersecurity conversation to explore how to best protect your business from cybersecurity shocks.
Please note that we will closely monitor the Covid situation here in Beijing and, if needed, change plans accordingly. For now, we are keeping our fingers crossed.
This event is limited to senior-level executives and per invitation only. If you are not an existing member of The Economist Intelligence Corporate Network, but would like to learn how you can attend our events, please contact us.
