Founding CEO of Naluri

Azran Osman-Rani is currently the founding CEO of Naluri, a new digital health technology company. Azran was the former CEO and Group COO of iflix in Malaysia and the founding CEO of AirAsia X. He has also worked in senior roles at Astro All Asia Networks, Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now Bursa Malaysia), McKinsey & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Azran is the current chairman of MoneyMatch; past chair of the advisory board for the Asia Business Centre, Curtin Business School; past chair of the Young Presidents’ Organisation, Malaysia Chapter; non-executive director of Apex Investment Services Berhad, Malaysia; and has held past board positions with PT XL Axiata, Indonesia and Tourism Malaysia.

Network Director, South-east Asia of The Economist Corporate Network

Pamela Qiu is the Network Director for the South-east Asia network of the Economist Corporate Network. She advises multinational corporations on the latest economic, political and market developments affecting business in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining the Economist Group, Ms Qiu worked as a policy analyst at the Singapore Ministry of Finance, where she worked on policies to tackle socio-economic problems such as inequality and unemployment. From 2009 to 2011, she was a researcher for the Centre for Public Economics at the Civil Service College, the Singapore government’s core institution for research and learning. Her research areas included the role of government in markets, fiscal policy, and behavioural economics. Ms Qiu also worked as a market analyst with Prudential Health Insurance, based in London. Ms Qiu holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in development studies, both from the London School of Economics.
