Robert is the Director of the Economist Corporate Network based in Dubai and covering the MENA region. Robert works closely with network members to help inform their business strategies through political, economic and operational insight and to connect them with their senior leadership peers.
Robert is a business journalist, editor and publisher with nearly 25 years of experience covering a wide variety of sectors, including hospitality, retail, construction, energy and transport, and a particular interest in human capital management.
He is an accomplished event chairman, moderator and speaker.
Robert completed an MBA at the University of Leicester School of Business in 2012 and holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nottingham.

Pat Thaker provides the intellectual leadership necessary to ensure that the Economist Intelligence Unit’s analysis and forecasts for the Middle Eastern and African markets are the most insightful available to international decision-makers. Her deep knowledge and regional experience means she frequently chairs and speaks at conferences in the MEA region on subjects such as the business case for Africa, the impact of low oil prices for the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), global food security, urban sustainability and corporate social responsibility. She leads the EIU’s Middle East and Africa team, ensuring that its regional forecasts are integrated with its global macroeconomic outlook, and developing the regional expertise required to diagnose problems and devise viable solutions for EIU clients.

Eliav Benjamin is head of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs' coordination bureau, and is responsible for ties with Arab and Muslim states that do not have official relations with Israel.
He has previously worked as Chief of Staff for the Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as Counselor for Political Affairs at the Embassy of Israel in Washington DC, and as Deputy Head of Mission in Shanghai (China).

H.E. Dr. Tariq Bin Hendi is the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO). He leads the organisation’s efforts to grow and diversify Abu Dhabi’s economy through private sector investment. He also oversees strategic initiatives that support the emirate’s economic growth and reputation on the world stage. Prior to joining ADIO, His Excellency held leadership roles at various institutions including Emirates NBD, Mubadala and Citibank. He also sits on a number of boards including AXA GCIC and EPG (Emirates Post Group). His Excellency holds a PhD in Economics from the Imperial College London, and graduate degrees from Columbia University and London Business School.

Dr. Sabah Hamad al-Sabah al-Binali is GCC VC Partner, Head of the Gulf Region at OurCrowd. He is also CEO of Universal Strategy and an active investor and entrepreneurial leader, with a track record of financing, building and growing companies in the Mena region. Dr. al-Binali is Vice Chairman of the Board of The National Investor and Chairman of the Investment and Strategy Committee, and a Director of the Board of Colliers Middle East. He served as the Chief Investment Officer and CEO of Credit of SHUAA Capital, Director of the Board at Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia, Vice Chairman of Shuaa Capital Saudi Arabia, Vice Chairman of Gulf Finance Co., Chairman of Gulf Installments Co., Chairman of Zawya, founding CEO and CIO of Saffar Capital and Head of the Treasury and Investment Division at Union National Bank as well as Director of the Board at Visa International CEMA Region. Dr. al-Binali holds a Diploma in Company Direction from the UK Institute of Directors. Dr. al-Binali received his Ph.D. from Columbia University, dissertation title: Competitive Analysis of Risk-Taking and Valuation of Financial Derivatives, and a B.S.E from Princeton University.
