Event Details

The challenges of navigating the China market have always been part of what makes operating a business here so exciting. However, a number of contemporaneous challenges and risks are making the current moment perhaps slightly too exciting. Thanks to China's zero-covid policy, sudden and unpredictable restrictions complicate business strategy and operations in areas such as supply chain management and risk resilence. Uncertainty about how policy and regulatory actions will shape the business environment complicates strategic thinking and effective communication with headquarters. And at a time when retaining and nurturing the right team is consequential, the race for talent in China has never been tighter.

Join us to consider how to rise to the current challenges in China. We'll hear from experts on risk management and talent management as well as our own EIU analysis of the business implications of Beijing's policy priorities. Please bring your own concerns and strategies to the table for what is sure to be a lively lunch conversation.

Please note that we will closely monitor the covid-19 policy and restrictions in Beijing and, if needed, change plans accordingly. For now, we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Please note that this event is limited to senior-level executives and per invitation only. If you are not an existing member of The Economist Corporate Network, but would like to learn how you can attend our events, please contact us.
