Event Details

Join us as we explore the intersection of international diplomacy and corporate sustainability, in the aftermath of the U.S. presidential election. We will analyze the effectiveness of COP climate conferences and the crucial role, responsibility, and accountability of corporations in achieving the ambitious goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. Our discussion will cover the achievements and limitations of COP conferences in establishing international climate agreements and fostering collaboration between developed and emerging nations. We will also consider how the outcome of the US Presidential election may influence U.S. climate policy, drive awareness, and shape climate action strategies on a global scale.

Please note that this event is limited to senior-level executives and per invitation only. If you are not an existing member of The Economist Intelligence Corporate Network, but would like to learn how you can attend our events, please contact us at eicn_hongkong@economist.com
