Cally Chan is the General Manger of Microsoft Hong Kong and Macau, and the lead of the company’s overall strategy and business operation, growing the team and focusing on business expansion in accelerating digital transformation for customers and partners.

Cally strives to promote talent development and innovation and technology in Hong Kong. She has shouldered public duties for the government and many organizations, including the Council Member and Knowledge Transfer Committee Chairlady of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Board Member and Public Relations, Promotion Committee and Support Services Convenor of Employee Retraining Board, Board Member of Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre, Member of Transport Advisory Committee. Recognizing her significant contribution to Hong Kong innovation and technology ecosystem, Cally was awarded Medal of Honours in 2022.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Cally served as Managing Director and Vice President of the Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Group. Cally holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Computing Science from the University of Hong Kong

Dr. Isabella Liu is the head of the Firm's Asia Pacific Intellectual Property and Technology Group. She advises clients on matters relating to the creation, exploitation and protection of IP rights. She is also responsible for the local IP Group's China and Hong Kong patent prosecution matters. Previously, Dr. Isabella Liu was the head of the Firm's Asia Pacific Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry Group for three years, leading a team of legal experts in this field cross multiple practices in the region.

Dr. Liu is ranked as a leading lawyer in her field by top legal directories such as Chambers Asia Pacific for the Life Sciences category and IAM Patent. She has been complimented by clients that she possesses "a superb ability to understand the most complex technologies" and was noted for "advis[ing] in a way that is very commercial and strategic."

Dr. Liu is also engaged as a regular guest lecturer by the University of Hong Kong's Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy to share her expertise on intellectual property in the pharmaceutical industry with HKU students.

Kevin Pereira is currently the Managing Director at Blu Artificial Intelligence, an Artificial Intelligence consulting firm based in Hong Kong. After growing up in Hong Kong, he started his career in Private Banking with Citi in New York where he worked in both the Investments and Relationship Management areas. He then moved back to Hong Kong to join Bank of New York Mellon’s Asset Management business, where he helped to build a new group that specialized in products tailored to High Net Worth Individuals. After going back to business school, Kevin joined a technology startup in Myanmar that was building out internet infrastructure which included fiber optic, cell towers and data centers. In this role, he spent half his time with the Venture Capital firm in Hong Kong and the rest on the ground with the portfolio company in Myanmar.

Kevin is also a Part-time Lecturer at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), where he teaches a full-credit MBA course, “Artificial Intelligence for Business Leaders”. He also lectures at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as a Visiting Scholar where he teaches “Big Data in Finance”. In terms of lecturing in the larger Asia Pacific region, Kevin is an Adjunct Faculty at the Asian Institute of technology in Thailand where he teaches a course on the “Business of Frontier Technologies”. In addition to his education work in academia, Kevin has delivered numerous corporate AI workshops to members of innovation and strategy teams from a myriad of industries in multiple locations around the world.

Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Finance, Management and Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also has an MBA from INSEAD.

Dr. Paul Sin is now leading the group technology function of New World Development, a conglomerate covering property, retail, healthcare, infrastructure, etc. with over 20 years of IT management and consulting experience. Prior to this role, Paul established the FinTech consulting practice and Asia Pacific Blockchain Lab in Deloitte. Paul had also incubated and served as CEO and Executive Director of a FinTech startup, as well as led the IT functions of different multinational financial institutes.

Edward Chui (Director, Hong Kong of Economist Intelligence Corporate Network)

Mr. Edward Chui is the Hong Kong Director at the Economist Intelligence Corporate Network.

Mr Chui has worked in the Greater China region for over 20 years. Before coming to The Economist Group, he was a consultant with Chesapeake Pacific Capital Management overseeing a range of thought leadership projects on the ultra-high net worth, family office, philanthropy, and next generation wealth succession. He was also Vice President at The Private Bank at JP Morgan in Hong Kong working with senior management in the expansion of the Asia Pacific business through special programs and wealth management publications for clients. Mr Chui also possesses extensive experience in the media and technology sectors having worked at Star TV, a subsidiary of News Corp, Alter Ego Networks in Silicon Valley and EF Education focusing on the China mobile business.

Mr Chui has a BA in Government from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.
