Event Details

As Asia's population ages, the "silver economy" is emerging as a vital market for businesses. This rapidly growing segment focuses on older adults, who represent significant purchasing power. With a strong emphasis on healthy aging, there is a growing demand for products and services that enhance quality of life while addressing chronic health issues.

This event will look at the trends and innovations influencing the silver economy, including demographic changes and shifting consumer preferences. Data shows that more than half of senior-related products purchased online in China are bought by younger generations, particularly those aged 26-45. Companies are increasingly looking at the potential of affluent seniors, who possess significant wealth and leisure time, making them an attractive market segment. Join us as we explore how businesses are adapting to the unique habits of older consumers and leveraging the opportunities within the silver economy to unlock new markets and drive growth in this evolving landscape.

Please note that this event is limited to senior-level executives and per invitation only. If you are not an existing member of The Economist Intelligence Corporate Network, but would like to learn how you can attend our events, please contact us at eicn_hongkong@economist.com
