Dr Andre Cheah is in full-time clinical practice as a Senior Consultant at the Department of Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery, National University Hospital. He also practices at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and is the Head of the Division of Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery there. His clinical interests lie in the treatment of acute and chronic wrist problems, post-traumatic deformities of the upper limb as well as compressive neuropathies involving the nerves of the upper limb.

He contributes to academia as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore where he teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students and has published more than 40 peer reviewed papers on various subjects in his field with an emphasis aligned with his clinical interests.

In addition to his passion for his vocation as a doctor, he is deeply interested in systems and contributing to the wider healthcare community. He is currently the Vice Group Chairman Medical Board, National University Health System (NUHS) and Group Director, Transformation Office, NUHS. In these roles, he is involved in the transformation efforts of the organization, focusing specifically on crafting, and executing NUHS’ clinical strategy. He has held several roles in Human Resources where he helped in manpower operations, manpower forecasting, performance management and compensation and was also the Clinical Director of a stand-alone ambulatory surgery centre.

Dr Andre Cheah graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He completed his specialist training in Hand Surgery in 2010 and was awarded the College of Surgeons Gold Medal in Hand Surgery for the best performing candidate. He obtained a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD in 2012 and was a Visiting Scholar at the Robert A. Chase Hand & Upper Limb Center, Stanford University School of Medicine in 2015.

Pierre is a senior consultant with extensive experience in supporting global business in their marketing and business transformation, advising business leaders in leading the change and designing future ready, data-infused customer experiences and new business models.

Having worked across Europe, North America and Asia, Pierre led global brand transformation agenda for AXA, MSD, Sanofi, Nestle, L’oreal and co-founded the European Tech global conference Viva Technology in 2016 before joining Ogilvy to launch and structure Ogilvy Consulting in ASIA. Starting with a specific remit on leading the Growth & Innovation practice for the region, Pierre was rapidly promoted to Managing Director of Ogilvy Consulting SEA and contributed to establish Ogilvy Consulting as a key transformation partner in ASIA.

Fascinated by the rapid transformation of the Health and Wellness industry, Pierre is now the CEO of Ogilvy Health ASIA, leading the rapid growth of Ogilvy Health ASIA offering with a wide range of marketing solutions including health marketing, data transformation, and patient digital experiences.

Pierre is also recognised as a thought leader in Singapore, a founder of Live With AI, a non-profit running advanced research on several topics such as the future of work, data privacy regulation, and new healthcare decentralised models. In this context, Pierre worked alongside Singapore officials, and its publication on the impact AI will have on the workforce and business models which was recognised and published in the National AI Strategy of Singapore end of 2019.

Zee is NCS’s lead for Healthcare, where he is tasked to build long lasting partnerships with major healthcare providers in Singapore and beyond to Make Tomorrow Healthier.

Zee brings to NCS an 18-year track record as a change-oriented CEO, first as the founding CEO of NTUC LearningHub (Singapore’s largest training services provider), and then with Singapore’s Health Promotion Board (HPB). Under Zee’s leadership, HPB shifted its business model decisively to the digital delivery of public health services e.g., by using Digital Gamification and Smart Nudges to promote healthy behaviours.

Zee also has extensive experience in strategy consulting, having worked at Bain & Co as Consultant, and McKinsey & Co as Senior Advisor.

Sumana is a senior policy professional with 17 years of experience. Having worked at several dynamic and vibrant tech firms, Sumana designs and implements policies through advocacy, strategic communication and evidence-based analysis. With a flair for writing and communication, Sumana is able to negotiate complex engagements & cultivate senior-level internal/external relationships.

Sumana holds a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, as well as a B.A. in Political Science and Geography from UCLA.
