While no one is suggesting globalisation is coming to an end, there is an increasing emphasis on the "Asianisation" of supply chains. The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement, whose member countries account for about 30% of the global GDP, will broaden and deepen SouthEast Asia's engagement with other major economies in this part of the world. With countries such as the UK and China having applied to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for TransPacific Partnership, Asia takes on even stronger role. Companies in South-East Asia are looking for the best ways to navigate these new waters.
