Event Details
Whether it's a bilateral free trade agreement or a relationship between ASEAN and another regional group, the connections between countries in our region and the rest of the world show a great potential for growth. With one-third of global GDP coming from APAC it should be no surprise that other countries are looking to increase their ease of doing business here, even as companies from South-East Asia seek to invest elsewhere.
While this year's implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership should lead to significant growth in intra-regional trade, companies in South-East Asia continue to look globally for opportunities. Vietnam's success as the "+1" in many companies' "China+1" approach has led other governments to explore their own potential to increase trade beyond Asia.
We will examine existing and proposed bilateral relationships such as Singapore's digital partnerships with Chile and the UK as well as the growing interest of non-APAC countries in agreements such as the CPTPP. Our goal is to help you identify new opportunities for growth beyond Asian markets.
