What you need to know in a world of shortening supply chains

Supply chains went through tremendous change during the pandemic, as corporates and countries alike sought resilience and proximity in their supply ecosystems. While shortages drove those changes during the pandemic, underlying factors such as geopolitics, regulatory changes, digitisation, financing and sustainability have been changing the dynamics of supply chains for a much longer period. With interest rates and inflation high, and currency volatility expected to remain, we take a look at the biggest factors influencing supply chains over the next few years, with a focus on changes in South-East Asia, and how businesses are changing to the new environment of shorter supply chains.
