Event Details

China's climate commitments to reach peak carbon emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060 are consequential and ambitious. For China to succeed, it must descend from its emissions peak more rapidly than any other major economy has either succeeded in doing, or has pledged to do. It will be a serious challenge. Additional pledges from China and other countries coming out of COP26, which saw unprecedented levels of corporate participation, are adding momentum to MNCs' sustainability and climate efforts. We'll consider how MNCs are assessing and responding to China's decarbonisation agenda and how that aligns with their global strategies. Join us for what should be a lively session also incorporating insights from our virtual session the previous evening.

Please note that this event is limited to senior-level executives and per invitation only. If you are not an existing member of The Economist Corporate Network, but would like to learn how you can attend our events, please contact us.
