Event Details

This is a moment of transition for international trade and the global economy. And thus an ideal time to explore how companies are navigating disruptions amid economic headwinds, the war in Ukraine, uneven post-pandemic rebounds, supply chain concerns, rapid technological advances, and more. This navigation is taking place amid a geopolitical contest for the future of the global economic world order, even if the conversation has shifted from decoupling to de-risking. Asia is poised to be a bright spot for growth in a year of stagnation, even if China's recovery has been more muted than hoped. And looking ahead to 2024, we expect to see continued improvement in most markets. Companies are assessing these developments and the new geography of global business by focusing on risk resilience.

We invite you to join us for our September Regional Strategic Forecast. This flagship programme convenes twice a year to explore how companies can make the most of this moment and how what feels daunting might in fact be exciting.

In this programme, we will:

- Present our latest analysis of the global and Asian economies and look ahead to 2024

- Discuss implications of continued inflation, cost of living crises, energy security concerns, supply chain transformations, and more

- Look at digitalisation, AI, and the role of tech in business

- Unpack how companies can navigate through geopolitical influences on business

- Consider how companies can manage risk, remain resilient, and unlock opportunities

Please note that this event is limited to senior-level executives and per invitation only. If you are not an existing member of The Economist Intelligence Corporate Network, but would like to learn how you can attend our events, please contact us.
