    Herbert Chen Wu

    Managing Director, China of The Economist

    Wu Chen is the editorial director of The Economist Global Business Review, which is based in Shanghai. Before that, he was the head of editorial (Asia-Pacific) for EuroFinance, part of The Economist Group, and the editor of CFO China, also an Economist Group publication. During his career in journalism, he has worked for BusinessWeek in Hong Kong, Bloomberg News in Singapore, and the international news department of Xinhua News Agency in Beijing. His July 2008 story on problems in manufacturing-sector transformation won a Society of Publishers in Asia award for excellence in business reporting (2009).

    Mr Wu holds a master’s degree in Pacific international affairs from the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at the University of California, San Diego, and a master’s in journalism from the E. W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. He earned his BA from Beijing Foreign Studies University.

    Jonathan leads PwC You Plus’s overall operation and he is also our China/Hong Kong’s Accounting Advisory Service team leader within Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Service group (“CMAAS”). He has been providing accounting advisory and capital market related services since 1997. From 2006 to 2007, Jonathan was a director at Aon Consulting, providing financial advisory and litigation support to multi-national corporations and law firms. From 2005 to 2006, Jonathan was a senior accounting policy advisor at JPMorgan. Jonathan also worked in PwC Hong Kong and offices in Boston, New York, where he was a member of the Firm’s Global Capital Markets Group. In these roles, Jonathan has provided variety of accounting advisory and capital market services, including financial due diligence, technical accounting advisory, IPO support, divestiture, restructuring, litigation and M&A transaction support for multi-national corporations, state owned enterprises, domestic and foreign private issuers.

    Jonathan is a Certified Public Accountant in the United States and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a CFA Charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute.

    Grace has witnessed different type of recruiting at Brand’s Start-up and Expansion in China, also handled cross-cultural regional Executive recruiting in Japan, HK and South East Asia. She also successfully completed national Corporate Management Trainee Program to support Brand development in China.

    Willy leads Marketing and Communications for PwC One Firm Services to build market awareness and develop communications programs for PwC’s innovative professional services specialized in urban development, capital projects & infrastructure, food safety, climate & sustainability and education industry. From 2008 to 2017, Willy was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, responsible for Corporate Communications in Mainland China and Taiwan, and in charge of media communications for IED/Research in seven countries/markets across APxJ. Willy provides counseling on strategic communications, issue and crisis management, media communications, reputation management, digital marketing strategy and thought leadership advocacy, particularly in the financial services industry. Willy has extensive international and domestic media experience and connections and is well versed on China media landscape. Earlier in his career, Willy was a consultant at PR consulting firm Weber Shandwick and started his career as a researcher for Dow Jones & Co. and was later a senior copy editor for The Wall Street Journal at its Shanghai bureau.
