Event Details

When President Biden was elected in November 2020, many wondered how US-China relations would change, and how that would affect South-east Asia. A year later, those questions still remain, and business leaders need some answers as they prepare for 2022 and beyond.

In this session we will examine what has changed and what effect it may have on our region. We will also look ahead at the continuing evolution of the relationship, and the potential implications for governments and businesses in the region. Our panelists will discuss how the business environment is being affected and what organisations can do to shelter themselves as two major powers continue their competition.

Please note that this event is limited to senior-level executives and per invitation only. If you are not an existing member of The Economist Corporate Network, but would like to learn how you can attend our events, please send an email to ecn_sea@economist.com.
