Join us for an exclusive breakfast session with Daniel Franklin, executive and diplomatic editor of The Economist and editor of The World In…, as we identify important political, economic, technological and societal themes that will shape the coming year.
Daniel has held the role of executive editor of The Economist since 2006. He has been the editor of The World In... since 2003. Daniel published Megatech: Technology in 2050 in 2017 and his book on long-term trends, Megachange: The World in 2050, was published in 2012.
Daniel joined The Economist Group in 1983. He has been The Economist newspaper's Europe editor, Britain editor, Washington bureau chief, business affairs editor, and the editor-in-chief of Economist.com. He was also editorial director of The Economist Intelligence Unit (1997 to 2006)
