Event Details

Please join us on February 11th for an exclusive webinar where we examine the impact of the coronavirus on work and the workforce. In a recent survey conducted by The Economist Corporate Network, 63% of respondents indicated that they are encouraging employees to work from home as a key response to the coronavirus outbreak in China. This figure rises to over 90% for Hong Kong and China based respondents where the authorities have passed ordinances designed to reduce the congregation of employees.

The Economist Intelligence Unit's baseline scenario is for the outbreak to come under control in China by the end of March. This implies that many businesses will need to adapt to a new reality of remote working by a greater proportion of the workforce for much longer than previously experienced. Indeed Bloomberg suggests that the coronavirus is forcing businesses and employees into the world's largest work-from-home experiment.

What are the implications of this new reality for operational continuity and your workforce?

Join us for this special webinar from The Economist Corporate Network where we bring together specialists to discuss:

- How to make remote working work for you and your employees;

- People, protection and compliance in China and beyond; and

- Maintaining and deepening client relations

More speakers under invitation and will be confirmed shortly. This is the second in a series of special webinars from The Economist Corporate Network designed to help business leaders better understand and respond to the recent coronavirus outbreak.
